GridCheck provides preliminary, AI-assisted document review findings for contractor evaluation. Results must be verified against the contract documents, manufacturer requirements and project conditions by qualified project personnel. GridCheck does not provide architectural, engineering, code, safety or final installation approval.
What GridCheck does
- Extracts candidate fixture facts and page evidence from submittal PDFs you upload.
- Asks a Reviewer to confirm or correct every value the review depends on.
- Runs a pinned, versioned, deterministic TypeScript ruleset against the confirmed inputs.
- Records an immutable review run with findings, evidence citations, and a printable coordination report.
What GridCheck does not do
- It does not certify that a fixture is compatible, approved, compliant, safe, or released for order or construction.
- It does not perform architectural, engineering, code, life-safety, structural, seismic, or acoustical review.
- It does not replace manufacturer installation requirements or the judgment of qualified project personnel.
- It does not guarantee that extracted values are complete or free of error - that is why every value must be confirmed.
Scope of automatic review
The initial automatic scope is limited to lay-in lighting fixtures in suspended tee-grid ceilings. Unsupported mounting or ceiling conditions return a Manual Review Required status rather than a favorable outcome.
How results are labeled
- Appears Compatible - every required input is confirmed and no conflicts were identified by the ruleset.
- Potential Conflict - at least one rule identified a conflict that a Reviewer must resolve.
- Insufficient Information - required inputs are missing or unreviewed.
- Manual Review Required - the fixture or ceiling condition is outside the automatic scope.
Favorable rule-level wording is "No Conflict Identified." GridCheck never uses "Pass", "Approved", "Certified", or equivalent language.
